Also at The Penistone Show we were selling The Heads Together Charity calendar featuring 12 local lads who barred (nearly) all to raise money for this worth while cause set up by Claire Throssell in memory of her two boys; Jack and Paul. The commeraderie between Claire, these men and their families is truly fantastic and I am sure that Jack and Paul will have been looking down and smiling at what an amazing woman their mum is and how the community has come together in their name. It was a mixture of emotions for everyone but there was fun and humour aswell. The calendar is available from the website and The Waggon and Horses along with other local businesses.
(Waggon customers – you need to check out Tony as Mr November 😉
Thank you all again for your continued support of The Waggon and Horses it is much appreciated!
Please support one amazing lady, and a bunch of extremely brave Barnsley men to raise money for Claire Throssells’ charity : The Heads Together Charitable Trust
Jack and Paul Sykes where taken in the most inhuman way by their very own father ( almost 2 years ago) .
Claire, has been through hell and back and every day is a struggle for her.
Claire has set up her own charity to raise money for various causes and to keep the spirit of Jack and Paul alive.
The men in the calendar are local men from Barnsley ,men who re-built Claire former home , men who have helped Claire find strength in her dark days , men who have given her back faith.
My husband and friends braved the nude to produce a Calendar that Claire is proud of.
Each month represents Jack and Paul’s hobbies , milestones and passion for life, with a cheeky twist that both Jack and Paul would of found fun.
